Tim Miksche is an open-minded, self-motivated entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, including working for Audi Automotive Corp. He led their Digital, and AR / VR development teams, within the framework of Audi Design based at their headquarters in Germany.

Being particularly skilled in innovative management strategies Tim is currently the Representative Director and CEO of Artisense Japan K.K. (a dynamic 3D mapping and localization company as applied to autonomous vehicles and robots) , as well as a Founder and CEO of transferNET UG.

Artisense Japan K.K. is a global company with offices in Munich / Germany, Palo Alto / California and here in Japan in Tokyo. “transferNET UG” is a boutique consultancy firm supporting startups in the development of their business strategies, as well as plans on how they might enter international markets.

Additionally, Tim is the Japan Representative for the German Startup Association, where he works to systematically connect the Japanese and German startup ecosystems in a mutually beneficial way, to the benefit of both countries’ economies.

In 2018, he won the main prize of 5,000,000 yen for pitching his client Artisense Corp. at the prestigious SLUSH Tokyo competition, proving that he is, as equally adept at “pitching businesses,” as he is at guiding them to success.
