Administrative application desk

Startup Visa (Startup Visa Support Desk)

The desk accepts applications for Business Startup Preparation Plans under Osaka City’s Foreign Entrepreneurship Promotion Project and helps applicants prepare their plans. It supports the startup preparation activities of foreign entrepreneurs granted the “Designated Activities” residence status (Startup Visa) as they work toward obtaining the “Business Manager” residence status.

Please Note

  • All application documents must be written in Japanese (documents in other languages require a Japanese translation)
  • It takes at least about five months from confirming eligibility to obtaining the visa
