Events You Can Hold
Events You Can Hold
- Events that support the growth of startups
- Events related to entrepreneurship, new businesses, open innovation, and similar themes
- Events consistent with the purpose of OIH’s activities
Events You Cannot Hold
- Sales or marketing activities mainly for profit
- Events unrelated to the purpose of OIH’s activities
- Any other events that OIH judges unsuitable as co-hosted events
Conditions of Use

About Use
Events can be held only in the “Innovation Stage.”
You must also meet all of the following requirements:
- Hold the event as a project co-hosted with Osaka Innovation Hub
- Be an OIH partner member
- Agree to the OIH Membership Terms / Facility Use Terms / Event Usage Rules (PDF, Japanese)
- Discuss your plan with Osaka Innovation Hub staff
- Submit a co-hosting application at least two months before the event
- Match an eligible event theme
- Cooperate with a follow-up interview on outcomes after the event
- Submit an event report within one week after the event
- Cooperate in promoting Osaka City’s global innovation creation support program
Equipment
We provide the audiovisual equipment, furniture, and other items needed for events. Please specify the equipment you would like to use in the co-hosting request form.
*The types and quantities of equipment are limited. Please confirm details at the preliminary meeting.

Streaming equipment and similar items are generally confirmed at the preliminary meeting. They are available to students and researchers aiming to start a business at KSAC participating universities (*1) and to Player members of OIH Members.

Food, Drink, and Deliveries
- Food and drink: must be noted in the co-hosting application
- Garbage disposal: 3,000 yen if requested
- Alcohol: allowed with prior approval, only after 18:00 and only for events with no participants under 20
- Bringing equipment in and out (including catering): separate application required
*These food and drink rules do not apply to meetings or regular use by members.
Steps to Hosting an Event
You must be an OIH partner member to host an event.
Before applying, please review the OIH Membership Terms, the Facility Use Terms, and the Event Usage Rules.

The desk below handles preliminary consultations and meetings about hosting events, applications, and the submission of co-hosting request forms, reports, and other documents.

Preliminary meeting
After reviewing the terms and rules, you will meet with OIH staff in advance to discuss your event plan.

Submit the co-hosting request form
After the preliminary meeting, submit the co-hosting request form to the Co-hosted Event Desk at least two months before your preferred date.
Review

Review of whether the event can be held
We review your submission to decide whether the event can be held and notify you of the result by email.
*If the office or Osaka City judges that the event is not consistent with the purpose of the facility, we may decline it.
Preparation

Preparation and announcements
Once your event is approved, please fill in the announcement request form so that we can list it in the OIH event calendar and newsletter.
*If you do not need an announcement, please say so in the form.
*As a rule, organizers are responsible for attracting participants.
On the Day / After the Event

Holding the event
Organizers are responsible for setting up the venue, reception, and cleaning up after the event.
*OIH staff will help on the day with how to use the equipment and the venue facilities.

Submitting the report
Within one week after the event, submit the Facility Use and Co-hosting Report to the Co-hosted Event Desk.
Notes
Announcements and Attracting Participants
- If you mention the venue in your event announcement, publish it only after receiving approval from your coordinator
- If you wish to use our logo, please ask your coordinator after the co-hosting is approved
- State on your announcement page that the event is co-hosted by Osaka Innovation Hub, and be sure to include the [Consent regarding photography and video recording]
Holding the Event
- If you wish to have food or drink in the facility, be sure to note it in the co-hosting application, along with whether you need garbage disposal (3,000 yen)
- Alcohol is allowed only after 18:00, only for events with no participants under 20, and only with the Agency’s prior approval
- If you will bring equipment in or out (including catering), a separate application is required, so please let your coordinator know
- If the Facility Use and Co-hosting Report is not submitted within one week after the event, we may decline your future events.
Other Support
- We may ask you to provide a participant list, so please obtain participants’ consent in advance
