This event was hosted by the Osaka Business Development Agency (Osaka Innovation Hub) and held during the momentum for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo. It took place at the Knowledge Theater in Grand Front Osaka North Building in a hybrid format combining on-site attendance and online streaming. Participants at the venue included Japanese companies, investors, and local government officials, while viewers from Japan and abroad also joined via Zoom.
During the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, international startups came to Osaka to showcase their cutting-edge technologies and services.

Osaka Springboard highlights innovative startups — particularly from Switzerland — bringing world-class ideas to Japan.
More than just a pitch event, this is a platform for meaningful business matching with Japanese companies, focused on co-creation, strategic partnerships, and new ventures.

We were honored to welcome Swissnex in Japan as our collaboration partner for this initiative, which saw ten startups from Switzerland, the Netherlands and other European countries visit Osaka.

The event went beyond just pitch presentations, including one-on-one business meetings with participating startups in the morning, which led to the initiation of several concrete moves toward business partnerships.
