Hong Kong and Shenzhen Overseas Workshop

Shenzhen, called the Silicon Valley of China, includes Nanshan, one of the Special Innovative Zones, and has a the well-established ecosystem to support startups. Shenzhen has recently been drawing great attention from many areas in Asia with a number of companies and startups trying to tap into this area.
This time, we are going to visit Hong Kong, located close to Shenzhen, and engage in networking at a large-scale exhibition. Companies aiming to expand business in China should consider starting from Hong Kong where tax breaks are available.
Experience actual innovation happening in China by yourself and seize an opportunity to accelerate your business!

Target Companies or startups who are considering expanding their businesses in China
*If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, the following applicants are given priority for participating the program.
・Startups with more than one participant who are CEOs, CTOs or CFOs.
・Those who can do business in Chinese
Conditions Must make a presentation of your own business plan in English or Chinese.
Must participate in the prior orientation held from 14:00 on Jan. 9 (Tue.), 2018.

Prior orientation

A prior orientation is held on January 9 (Tue.), shortly before the tour starts. People who have participated in AFF before will lecture on efficient ways to use AFF and other advice. After the seminar, participants will interact with each other.

Debriefing meeting

A debriefing meeting and networking will be held on March 11, Sunday, to keep in touch after the event. Participants look back on their hands-on experiences with businesses in Hong Kong and China and consider how they move forward.
